Payroll Analyst
The Payroll Analyst requires knowledge of Kronos Workforce Central. Knowledge of Microsoft Access needed to run reports as required throughout the payroll process. Develops metrics to identify and measure potential issues in all areas of payroll. Supports department initiatives to attain continual efficiencies.
Responsibilities: -Supports Kronos Workforce Central application including audit/review, partners with HRIS and payroll team to facilitate corrective measures and resolve issues in a timely manner. Understands pay policies, work rules, pay rules; how they are applied and identify when used incorrectly. -Develops metrics to measure/identify potential payroll issues and customer satisfaction -Enhance payroll controls to maintain accuracy in all areas of payrolls, minimized errors and time spent on current processes. -Identifies, develops and runs reports as needed throughout all aspects of the payroll process. -Stays abreast of payroll compliance wage and hours laws that affect company policies and payroll policies. -Documents existing payroll processes and makes suggestions for process improvements. -Runs exception reporting to support compliance process in ensuring new hire documents are complete and satisfy legal requirements. -Support payroll operations team and payroll services in all aspects of the payroll cycle on an as-needed basis due to deadline crunces and roll out of new initiatives -Assist in special projects/tasks assigned to meet departmental/company's needs.
