- 5+ years of related experience - Excellent organizational skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office skills - Experience with ADP a plus - Excellent written and verbal communication skills Function A Leading Services Company located in Bethpage, New York is searching for a Payroll Manager who will handle the following responsibilities: Duties - Manage a payroll department consisting of three Payroll Coordinators and two thousand employees - Process payroll for union, hourly, part-time, non-exempt, and executives - Multi state payroll, including employees in Canada - Implement, institute and assure accurate payroll practices and procedures in accordance with corporate and applicable state and federal legislation, and communicate this to all within the organization - Review and supervise the recording, reconciliation and closing of monthly, quarterly and annual payroll journal entries - Implement ADP and ensure that a smooth communication and process be established with them. - Prepare the department budget and ensure adherence - Oversee the efficient operation and cost effectiveness of operation systems and programs - Review and approve all wire transfers for tax deposits and net pay, check requests for payroll remittances, garnishments, child support, credit union, savings bonds, united way, union dues, etc. - Review and approve manual check requests to correct errors or adjustments - Provide guidance and leadership to the payroll staff LOCATION Job Location New York Relocation COMPENSATION Pay 60,000-75,000 Type Permanent Duration OTHER Comments If you are interested in this excellent opportunity (and/or others similar to it) please forward your resume to and/or call us at .
