PR Account Coordinator, Beauty & Wellness

The Musmanno Group is a luxury public relations firm that works with emerging and established brands across fashion, art, music, and beauty. We are seeking a candidate for the Account Coordinator: Beauty and Wellness position to join the team.

Responsibilities:
*Manage PR elements - pitching, press releases, media contacts, product placement.
*Develop and maintain relationships with members of the media in order to ensure placements.
*Develop strategic communication plans, including media opportunities, tactics, and timelines consistent with the overall PR strategy.
*Create a comprehensive public relations strategy per each brand's distinct positioning.
*Proactively pitch targeted media outlets including broadcast, print and new media.
*Responsible for daily account management activities: agendas, recaps, activity reports, media monitoring and coordination of all necessary materials for client accounts.
*Participate in the development of materials for new business opportunities including timelines, proposals, business decks and case studies; assist in generating new business leads.
*Create e-PR strategy and manage all e-PR activities including pitching, reporting, writing and events.
*Knowledge of social media practices within the beauty industry is a must.
*Obtain significant national and regional, online, and broadcast press coverage and sustain consistent targeted media exposure.
*Be a very strong -pitch- person.
*Organize and execute major product press launches, desk side appointments, and special events.
*Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with beauty press, other media, business, and entertainment press. Must have strong media relationships.
*Manage all collateral, products, and press materials.
