Every day, customers turn to Our Client for solutions to their flow, pressure, and level challenges. In industries as diverse as bio pharmaceuticals, oil and gas, fuel cell, solar, chemicals, medical devices, analytical instrumentation, and semiconductors (AND the semiconductor industry is what the Dallas Facility focuses on). Our Client provides the broadest array of flow products in the market. Their award- winning meters and controllers consistently rank at the top of their category for accuracy, reliability, and user preference, as judged by the audience that matters users of flow instruments. Their facility in Dallas has approximately 300 full time employees with an annual revenue of close to $120 Million. During the past 18 months their business has seen a surge of growth in business development and thus an increase in employees and the need for a Director of Operations. Position Overview: This position will be responsible for supporting the company strategic vision / plan by providing management leadership to divisional manufacturing operations to maximize shipments and profitability. This will be done via utilization of Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) tools to drive on-time delivery to customer request, cost of sales, and gross margins. This position works closely with other departments and external customers to achieve business targets and ensure a reliable flow of products to meet customer demand. Specific tasks include: Lead, develop and motivate operations personnel to provide a productive and safe environment. Manage and direct your team to achieve continuous improvement in ERP & itors department and employee performance aligned to performance metrics of World Class in and develop Operations team members to support the business processes and Lean. This entails providing ongoing feedback, administering the performance management and personal planning process in accordance with company policies/eract with department members, other departments, suppliers and customers as necessary to provide direction and resolve pare presentations and communicate all relevant issues and updates to all levels of port Operational Excellence and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. This may include, but is not limited to, providing project management, identifying improvement opportunities, and leading improvement ively participate and lead as required systems improvements, upgrades, migrations, etc. This includes the planned migration to a new business ure that the companys established procedures and policies are followed within the department. Review, develop and approve short and long-range strategies for improving cost structure, quality, lead times, on time delivery, manufacturing efficiency and asset utilization. Develop, monitor, review and approve budgets, forecasts, operation reports, headcount changes, capital expenditures, etc. Measure and improve Key Performance Metrics such as total order lead-time, asset management, on time delivery to request and customer satisfaction (and others as business conditions require). Lead and monitor implementation of lean manufacturing system. Provide direction and training to Business Unit staff to continuously improve the systems and processes used to fulfill customer orders.
