Product Development Assistant- Private Label Desig
The Jones Group, Inc. is seeking a Product Development Assistant for Jeanswear. This role will coordinate and support the development and approval needs of private label merchandise. The candidate should posess excellent written and oral communication skills and have strong Microsoft Excel knowledge. Interaction with multiple departments required. Muti-tasking and attention to detail a must. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: -Create and manage time and action for new orders -Complete customer development forms -Send approval submissions to customers (labdips, embroideries, reference samples, etc.) -Maintain product approval submit library -Execute product worksheets -Issue sample requests -Track, receive and distribute ordered samples -Create and issue costing charts to production -Create bulk product trimsheets -Understand and follow customer policies and requirements -Adjusting to changing business needs -React to trends in market they may effect product performance on retail level -Resolve development issues such as new packaging, non compliant components, & factory inability to achieve aesthetics -Liase with design, production, and sales
