- Lead business trend analysis through competitive shopping and trade publications. - Ensure product represents the current and future-looking direction of the brand - Provide core merchandising concepts, seasonal strategies and product information to licensees. - Partner with retailers and licensee to determine product assortment and drive business strategy. - Identify new licensing opportunities through due diligence, interviews, attending trade shows, etc. - Facilitate approval process, working with Design group - Manger product and packaging development calendars with licensees - Manage product approval details (color, fabric, design, etc.) with Licensing design team and communicate with licensees - Maintain accurate records of approvals - Track progress of product development cycle to ensure production timeline is met - Partner with licensee to ensure quality standards are met - Analyze business results and present opportunities to grow the business with each licensing partner
