Production Technician Category: Information Technology Type: Description: We are looking for a Production Technician to work 3rd shift and assume responsibility for the processing of client media, which can include imaging, extracting, converting, and loading various types of media. This is a six month contract position and the pay is $15.00/hr.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Process client media by following the technical processing instructions documented by Process Engineering/Quality Assurance. * Report problems (Hardware/Software) to Production Supervisor. * Review daily updates for all jobs, and managing the jobs accordingly by priority. * Set up of daily jobs for continuous processing to maintain the number of processes as directed. * Report status updates accurately, timely, and efficiently on all jobs during and at the end of shift. * Investigate errors/issues that occur while processing jobs and reporting them to management. * Maintain a clean working environment. * Other duties as assigned.
Requirements: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
* Skilled in the use of personal computers and various software packages --especially Microsoft Office Suite * Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision * Ability to handle and resolve recurring problems Credentials and Experience
* High School Diploma or equivalent * Two years computer experience Special Requirements: Must be able to:
* Stand for extended lengths of time * Work overtime, holidays, and weekends as requested by the Floor Supervisor
