Description: PRIDE Industries is a fast paced company with a mission: To Create Jobs for People with Disabilities while providing high quality, value-added solutions to our nationwide customers. We are currently seeking a Production Trainer to help support a landscape/grounds contract in South Sacramento.
This position is responsible transporting clients to and from work sites and providing individual and group support and training to employees with disabilities in a production environment. This includes cleaning of products, assembly and quality control.
Duties and qualifications for the position include but may not be limited to the following:
. Provide job support & guidance to employees with disabilities . Set up work, train and monitor projects, work flow and quality . Address client issues and foster communication . Ensure work schedules are met and tasks are fulfilled . Maintain written data and keep accurate reports . Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities is desirable . Class 'B' Driver License proof of clean DMV record required
The qualified candidate will have good communication and interpersonal skills necessary to work well in a team-oriented environment. This includes utilizing good verbal and written communication skills to support and teach social and work skills. A background and understanding of more challenging physical and developmental disabilities is helpful. This position requires outstanding customer service skills, flexibility, compassion, and patience.
