EnerSearch Group is currently looking forProject Controls Leadto work for our prestigious client in Ontario.

Objective:
Manages the project controls unit and project controls functions on a specific project. This includes management of personnel/disciplines within the Project Controls unit/projects such as Cost or Planning/Scheduling personnel. Utilizes widely diversified experience in project controls activities within the assigned discipline(s); proven leadership; a strong working knowledge of all industry practices; strong technical expertise; computer literacy in typical project controls software. Responsible for quality control and uniformity of work output for project controls personnel. Also responsible for the implementation and the use of our clients "In - Control" software within the company, as well as interaction with existing cost control systems.

Responsibilities:
.Responsible for Engineering man hour estimates, planning and scheduling, cost control management, scope of work for outages, work management systems, and management of work permits
.Exercises overall managerial and technical direction of the discipline for a specific project.
.Establishes discipline staffing budget estimates and staffing assignment schedules for each project. Reviews and provides recommendations on staff forecasting reports to the applicable managers (i.e. - President/General Manager, Vice President, Major Projects, Vice President, Operations, and Project Managers). Ensures that this data is inputted into the existing systems every month, as required by the Vice President, Major Projects and/or the President/General Manager.
.Makes staffing assignments for Project Controls personnel. Keeps closely involved with project schedules to increase or reassign staff as project and client requirements change.
.Establishes standards and procedures manuals for the discipline. Recommends improvements to Department policies and procedures.
.Creates statistical reports for management on a recurring or one-of-a-kind basis.

Requirements:
.BA/BS in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or equivalent, or 10 to 15 years of applicable experience.
.In addition, 10 - 15 years of experience with typical project controls activity, managerial experience, and computer literacy, is preferred.
Must be proficient in Primavera P3 software.
.Excellent communication skills.

Reporting and Location:
.The position reports to the Manager of Engineering.
.Opportunity is site based in Ontario.
