Project Coordinator
The Cross Cultural Health Care Program (CCHCP) is seeking a Community Outreach and Communications Coordinator to develop and implement its marketing and outreach efforts. This is a new position that will require an enthusiastic employee with initiative and the ability to work with a diverse team. Specific responsibilities include: Exploration of new marketing opportunities for our publications and training programs Building relationships with communities, customers, and stakeholders Providing marketing support for agencies holding our training licenses Responding to information and presentation requests Assistance with creation and editing of publications and brochures, both electronic and print Support of fundraising and grant writing efforts Event planning and facilitation Partnering with CCHCP department teams to develop marketing and communications plans Attendance at relevant community meetings and forums Compilation of quarterly reports of accomplishments, goals, and metrics Additional Qualifications: Qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in a related field and a minimum of five years experience. Experience partnering with diverse communities and working with community organizations. Demonstrated success in project coordination, community-based marketing, and event planning. Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (including Access) and PowerPoint. Knowledge of website design and maintenance. Familiarity with presentation and social media tools. In addition to the skills listed above, experience in any of the following areas will be an asset to this position: Environmental justice, social work, cultural competence, social justice.
