Job Description:

Position Summary

Primary responsibility for the PMO Coordinator is to provide Project, Program and Portfolio performance monitoring support for the Affinion Group Project Management Office using PULSE, Affinion Group's PPM tool. Individual will possess the skills necessary to perform program and portfolio performance monitoring from a demand, scheduling, resource and financial perspective. Position requires frequent interaction with the Program, Project and Resource Managers.

Key Responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring & Reporting
o Work with Project Managers to insure that projects progress through System
Development Methodology (SDM) process smoothly.
o Utilize PULSE to track project schedules, issues and risks and other project
performance metrics such as Cost Performance and Schedule Performance
Indices to provide regular updates on progress of active projects within
portfolio to PMO and senior level management.
o Prepare project performance analyses for the Project Management Office and
senior management review
o Perform project budget and schedule management using PULSE and creating
program-level master schedules of all projects for PMO and senior
management oversight
Facilitate weekly meetings with Technical Services Organization and Program
Managers and provide PULSE reporting as discussion point for both
o Provide performance report information to the Project Management Managers
for to evaluate the cost, status, timing and health of each of the projects in
their portion of portfolio.

2. Training
o Provide process and tool training to new PULSE account holders based on their
role within PULSE. This could be Program Managers, Project Managers,
Resource Managers or Time submitters.
o Show new PULSE account holders how to use dashboards to manage their
workload within the tool.

3. Compliance & Governance
o Ensure project deliverables for all project phases are complete and available
for review.
o Perform Phase Gate reviews to insure that all phase gate deliverables are
complete and available as the project completes each phase.
o Perform quarterly audits of portfolio using SOX test criteria
o Function a Control Area Tester for SOX SDLC Control areas during external
audits

compromising standards
o Insuring compliance with SDM processes from within PULSE
o Providing effective customer service to all contributors, all of Affinion Group.
o Personal time management within a highly dynamic environment.

Problem Solving:
o Process flow and procedure improvements within Proposal Management to
more effectively meet stretching targets that fulfill the needs of our internal
customers.
o Exploitation of technology available, recommending enhancements and
streamlining which will decrease manual tasks.

Job Requirements:

o Knowledge of HP-PPM tool
o Strong in Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools
o Experience in Initiating, Planning, Executing and Closing Projects
o Understanding of Project Life Cycles (Waterfall)
o Excellent analytical ability - be able to take a problem apart and solve with minimal assistance
o Strong Communications Skills Oral and Written
o Troubleshoot process and tools problems for user community
o Work independently
o Provide assistance to PMO Resource Management Analyst as needed

Education/Experience

o BS/BA degree desired or equivalent work experience
o Two - three years in a business administrative/operational environment
o Two - three years working in a Project Management Office or equivalent
