Parsons delivers safer, healthier and more sustainable communities. The Project Manager is required to have experience with full responsibility for coordinating medium to large jail projects through all phases of project inception, programming, design, construction, and close-out.
Candidate must show experience in the following:
- Worked on high visibility, high risk jail projects and related security system requirements
- Coordinating and managing the design process and activities
- Coordinating and managing the Construction Managers (CM) pre-construction services
- Development and management of project specific risk management plans
- Development and management of project specific schedules
- Development and management of project specific budgets
- Coordination of all consulting activities including design, commissioning agents, environmental consultants, move management, etc.
- Review in detail all design phase pricing and provide analysis and recommendations for cost control
- Monthly project reporting on key performance indicators and metrics (scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, small and minority business participation, etc.)
- Coordination and review of CM Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) proposals
Qualifications: Requires 4-year degree in Architecture or Construction Management.
10 to 15 years of work experience with at least 5 years experience on jails or prison projects required.
California jail experience a plus.
Professional registration may also be required.
