Job Description: JOB SUMMARY: Develops, implements and administers internal controls, protocols and procedures for project documentation consistent with business practices and environmental standards to ensure project work activities and documentation comply with third party standard requirements and applicable environmental regulations and in accordance with PSC policies, practices and procedures. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Writes standardized procedures for all project work documentation including correspondence, filing systems, calculations, both electronic and paper documents , internal reports, and internal controls. • Trains users in procedures. • Reviews project work documentation for compliance, identifying and remedying no compliance issues. Conducts periodic audits to ensure compliance with protocols and procedures. • Responds to all inquiries from third parties regarding protocols and standards and results of audits. • Resolves issues of compliance working with all involved parties. • Recommends improvements and works with involved parties to implement. • Provides periodic updates on status of compliance to appropriate parties. • May provide invoicing and project cost monitoring support and/or technical project support when appropriate. • Performs other duties as required. SCOPE: • No direct reports MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE: • Productivity • Quality of work • Compliance status ESSENTIAL EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS: • BS degree in Environmental Science or Engineering or equivalent experience or in a related field such as Geology, Hydrogeology, Chemical Engineering, etc. ESSENTIAL JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE: • 2 or more years experience in large construction or government-type projects. DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: • Working knowledge of environmental standards and regulations including EPA, OSHA, etc. • Knowledge of standard project processes and procedures and equipment and tests. • Audit procedures against standards writing • Writing skills to develop standards , protocols and procedures. • Ability to interpret lab data/analytical and treatability studies • Ability to utilize testing equipment to make process changes • Ability to complete assigned tasks independently. WORKING ENVIRONMENT: • Office environment with limited travel
