G-Star Raw is in search of a Public Relations Coordinator for their office in New York. The Public Relations Coordinator is a member of the international PR team and will be reporting to the PR Manager USA based in New York.
As G-Star's Public Relations Coordinator you play a significant role in raising our brand's awareness, both locally and nationally. If you are an ambitious communicator, a natural networker and think you have what it takes to personally represent G-Star's DNA, then this could be the opportunity you have been looking for.
The ideal candidate is an effortless communicator with strong contacts in the entertainment and fashion industries. We are searching for an independent professional who already gained at least 4 years of experience in fashion and lifestyle media relations and who has a strong sense of style. A natural networker who has the ability to build and sustain true relationships with press, stylists, celebrities and key influencers within the world of film, television, music, art and design.
Key will be the administrative organization of PR initiatives and working daily with press and stylist to generate maximum coverage in the trade, consumer and national press. As Public Relations Coordinator you will attend social events in the field of fashion and lifestyle, build a reliable network, proactively seek free publicity opportunities and celebrity partnerships, organize showroom visits, handle pulls for press and the entertainment industry, manage sample traffic, and keep the press showroom in immaculate order. The candidate will further facilitate the styling of people that are of interest for G-Star, order entry and store pulls for celebrity clients, event support and logistics, manage press clippings and other duties which support the internal PR department.
