Public Safety Business Process Analyst, Brooklyn, NY
The successful candidate must be able to support the rapidly evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
The successful candidate must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts as part of Shareholder interviews. Should be able to contribute to the development of survey materials based on input from Subject Mater Experts in the field of Public Safety Operations, plan agendas, lead sessions, document issues, comments and recommendations in such a manner as to create meeting reports and the necessary post meeting artifacts based on standard templates, using natural language/public safety standard terms.
The successful candidate will be able to collaborate with project staff, third-party vendors/developers and subject matter experts to establish the technical vision and analyze tradeoffs between usability and performance needs.
Minimum of 12 years' experience in business process re-engineering for complex organizations.
Bachelors' Degree in Business Management or related discipline, and 12 years' experience in business process re-engineering for complex organizations.
Associates Degree and additional years of pubic safely operations business process re-engineering may be considered in lieu of Bachelors' Degree.
Strong analytical as well as verbal and written communications skills are required.
Understanding and experience gathering/document functions and system requirements is required.
Understanding and experience documenting workflow and use cases is required.
Public Safety Experience is desired
Must experience written Use Cases, including Subsystem User Cases.
