Real Estate Construction client is seeking a strong CFO/Controller with a proven track record in this arena. Our Client runs under $100 million but a large amount of active projects, thus requiring someone who is adept at multitasking and becoming "intimate" in the details of the deal and operations. The qualified individual/CFO will have expertise in construction and project accounting. This individual will have proven successes in implementing internal controls and processes; have had experience in training, assessing and hiring accounting staff; hands on experience in working with Project Managers, change orders and in depth knowledge of AR. Our Client will look to this CFO consultant to quickly assess the internal operations of the organization and make necessary changes and improvements in an efficient and timely manner. Currently, internal controls and policies are weak and somewhat limited. Further, the client uses Timberline accounting system. Our Consultant will need to quickly assess which reports are needed and set up the necessary schedules and processes in generating reports. This role requires someone who is extremely hands on and willing to get into the day to day operations including but not limited to: AP/AR, monthly close, audit process, bank reconcilations, etc. Our Consultant must have the wherewith all to earn the trust and confidence of the accounting staff as well as senior management.
