The Opportunity:Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. seeks a motivated and self-driven Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Pullman, Washington. If you have experience recruiting technical or specialized positions, knowledge of employment laws, and the desire to grow your career in Human Resources, then we invite you to apply for this opportunity!Recruitment SpecialistResponsibilities: * Recruits, interviews, checks references, and makes offers to new employees. * Source candidates through the internet, networking and career fairs. * Educate applicants regarding our history, values, mission and working environment. * Present benefits overview to candidates during final interviews; arrange and conduct company tours. * Serve as the liaison and trainer to Interview Coordinators to assure smooth final interview schedules. * Conduct resume screening for labor certifications. * Define, follow and improve recruiting and selection lifications: * Related Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience * Knowledge of legal hiring practices and procedures * MS Office expertise * Strong interviewing and organizational skills; excellent writing and speaking skills * Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities * Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment * Background check results satisfactory to SEL * Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in Human Resources * Experience with Adobe, PageMaker and VisioAn Award Winning CompanySchweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc.
