The Opportunity:Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. seeks a motivated and self-driven Recruitment Specialist to join our Human Resources team in Pullman, Washington. To succeed in our fast-paced environment, you'll need excellent communication and customer service skills, the ability to juggle multiple priorities at one time, and the flexibility to quickly adapt to changing needs.

* Recruits, interviews, checks references, and makes offers to new employees.
* Source candidates through the internet, networking and career fairs.
* Educate applicants regarding our history, values, mission and working environment.
* Present benefits overview to candidates during final interviews; arrange and conduct company tours.
* Serve as the liaison and trainer to Interview Coordinators to assure smooth final interview schedules.
* Conduct resume screening for labor certifications.
* Define, follow and improve recruiting and selection lifications:
* Related Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of legal hiring practices and procedures
* MS Office expertise
* Strong interviewing and organizational skills; excellent writing and speaking skills
* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities
* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
* Background check results satisfactory to SEL
* Negative drug test result(s)Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience in Human Resources
