Regional Vice President - Midstream Operations
HLP Solutions has partnered with one of the world's largest oil and gas producers to offer this outstanding opportunity. This position will be accountable for engineering, construction and operations of the company's midstream assets and will be based in Bridgeport, TX.
Additional accountability will include EHS compliance and performance, human resources, strategic planning, budgeting, financial performance, construction, and pipeline and plant operations. This position works closely with E&P management, all other marketing and midstream departments, and other internal support groups to maximize the value of production and to ensure that projects are properly planned and executed on time & within budget. This position will supervise a staff of engineering, construction, midstream operations, right-of-way and administrative personnel.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Maximize returns on company assets: Best-in-class EHS performance, Minimize facility downtime, Optimize operations to control costs, Ensure timely connection of wells, Ensure continuous flow of production and products, Minimize constructions costs
-Organize, staff & manage midstream engineering, construction, right-of-way, measurement and operating groups
-Develop & effectively execute capital and operating budgets and regional goals & strategies
- Interface closely with Marketing & Midstream Services department including gas control, measurement, GIS, major projects, and new ventures
-Establish and nurture working relationships with business partners/contractors and relevant local, state and federal government/regulatory agencies along with community groups
-Serve as president and perform such duties for any joint venture companies
-Ensure region's compliance with corporate and division policies, procedures, practices & authority levels
-Accountable for all regulatory compliance requirements impacting midstream operations in coordination with Legal, EHS, Public Affairs and other departments as needed
-Working knowledge of pipeline, compression and plant simulation/modeling tools
-Financial and economic analyses
EXPERIENCE
-Successful candidate should have a minimum of 10 to 15 years of midstream related experience with at least 5 years of management experience
EDUCATION
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering
