Report Specialist

Coordinates monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc production of a broad array of activity and outcomes reports related to Coram's specialty infusion and specialty inject able medication therapy activities. Works with Coram's V.P., Outcomes & Analytics and various subject matter experts to coordinate development, production, and presentation of reports to document the clinical and financial impact of medication therapy management programs, including infusion-focused EyeOn Therapy Management programs and specialty inject able-focused Utilization Management (UM) programs.
  • Maintain report production queue and schedules for key business units
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to procure required data
  • Research and generate industry trend and benchmark metrics
  • Analyze data sets to identify reportable trends and key findings
  • Develop dashboards, pivot reports, and templates to maintain readily reproducible reports for routine data sets.
  • Perform data scrubbing and validation routines
  • Coordinate new report development activities
  • Generate custom graphics and report presentation templates using MS Excel and other applicable software
  • Generate PowerPoint-based presentations of outcome metrics for key internal and external customers
  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Education or experience equivalent to a four year college degree is required.
  • Minimum 2 years post-college working experience.
  • Working experience in the health care field preferred but not essential.
  • Experience developing and generating health care-related activity and trend reports preferred but not essential.
  • Highly developed skills working with MS Excel, MS Access and other data management applications and tools to generate tabular and graphical representations of utilization and outcomes activity levels and trends.
  • Knowledge and ability to utilize Mac OS and applications also desirable
  • Periodic travel to Malvern, Pennsylvania and Mount Prospect, Illinois sites to work with key Coram staff.
  • Professional presentation training desirable
  • Ability to work effectively in a rapid-response, multi-disciplinary environment.
  • Full time position based in Beltsville, Maryland (until March 2012), thereafter in Columbia, Maryland
