Job Summary: Manages the clinical and delegated management components of the Intensive Care Unit. Responsible for clinical nursing expertise, unit educational development, and operational management to achieve departmental goals and strategic outcomes. Responsible for coordinating activities which promote personal and professional growth of the department staff.
EDUCATION:
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited School of Nursing.
EXPERIENCE:
Three-five years clinical experience preferred. Minimum of two years clinical experience with demonstrated leadership abilities in an acute care facility in the clinical setting in which assigned required.
SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS/LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association Healthcare Provider CPR. American Heart Association ACLS. Certification in Critical Care Nursing preferred.
