Description: Seeking a qualified candidate with experience as a SALT Sales/Use Tax Associate.
Education: Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting or business related field [provided all of the minimum requirements are met for CPA licensure per respective state regulations] required.
Experience: Knowledge Preferred:
Working knowledge of general tax accounting and state and local tax laws.
Working knowledge of non-state & local tax (SALT) project work.
Working knowledge of non-state & local tax (SALT) project work.
Skills Preferred:
Proficient technical skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access), strong analytical skills, general understanding of financial systems and sales tax compliance tools.
Working experience identifying and addressing client needs: building solid relationships with clients; developing an awareness of Firm services; communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner; delivering clear requests for information; demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.
