Position Description: The SAP Order-to-Cash Business Analyst on the ERP project team will provide analysis, software design, implementation and support within the SAP Order-to-Cash team. This business analyst role will be responsible for the functionality for global sales order processing and billing, including EDI, master data, pricing, and ATP/ARUN. Responsibilities: * Identify business requirements and develop the ERP Global Blueprint within the areas of Sales Order Processing, Direct Ship, VAS, and Billing * Provide SAP configuration expertise for all functionality in the SD module to support a global implementation of supply chain, including master data, pricing, EDI, ATP, Allocation Run (ARUN), billing, and output. * Leverage strong integration experience with SAP financials, controlling, purchasing, and inventory management, as well as integration with some 3rd party applications such as Manhattan WM, Taxware and Vistex. * Design functional specifications for interfaces to other applications, custom EDI messages, userexits, reports, and other development objects. * Work with programmers to oversee completion and efficiency of development objects. * Develop and execute thorough unit and integration testing scenarios and documentation, using testing tools such as HP Quality Center and Mercury Interactive. * Supply adequate training/documentation information, using recording tools such as RWD and other templates required by the Training Team. * Participate in the development of training curricula and materials, as well as development of user acceptance testing plans.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Experience: * 5 +years of IT experience required with at least three years of experience configuring SAP Sales and Distribution functions that support a global supply chain. * Ability to independently configure sales order processing, customer master, pricing, credit, ATP, logistics execution, and billing in SAP is required. * Experience with 3rd party applications, such as Vistex , Manhattan WM and Taxware desired * Experience as an SD configuration analyst on least one full cycle ERP implementation required
* Possess expert knowledge of sales order management business processes (including customer master, material master, pricing, available-to-promise, sales order entry and processing, EDI, billing) and the technology that supports these processes. * Ability to design and configure an efficient SAP Order to Cash solution to support a company with the order management and distribution complexities that are present in a global $1 billion enterprise. * Possess strong integration understanding of the SAP modules that support Order to Cash processes (MM, LE, FI, CO) * Expertise in SAP AFS functionality * Configuration of the SD module in complex submodules, including the following: material master using the IS-AFS grid, extensive pricing and rebates in SAP and Vistex, EDI, ATP and IS-AFS Allocation Run (ARUN), 3rd party processing/direct ship, output, copy control, master data hierarchies * Analytical troubleshooting of processes and SAP configuration, debugging when necessary * Ability to write clear documentation of process/system designs and user instructions * Ability to conduct one-on-one training to teammates and business users * Bachelor's Degree preferred with emphasis in business, supply chain management, information systems, or accounting, MBA preferred. 10+ years of supply chain experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
