The Sr. Account Manager develops new business, builds partner and client relationships, and delivers executive management services. The goal of the company is to offer consulting services to clients in Manufacturing to: "Improve productivity, profits, and stimulate growth with client companies." You need to have demonstrated strong selling skills to C-level individuals and you need to have a firm understanding of lean concepts and project management skills.
The Sr. Account Manager is accountable for:
1. Building a regional practice to meet new target customers and revenue goals
2. Building client advisor relationships to meet portfolio clients goals
3. Building client account delivery to meet consultant utilization and contractor utilization goals
4. Delivering management services to meet individual utilization goals
Responsibilities:
-Develop sales plans in an assigned territory with specific company targets
-Assure highest customer satisfaction and strong client relationships
-Develop relationships within territory with associations, business development organizations, city
-Deliver management presentations to build company brand, leads and referrals
-Build teamwork and develop strong communication and coordination among teams
-Build and maintain executive management “C level ” relationships and credibility with management
-Manage the sales and engagement processes including discovery, planning, solution design,
-Build portfolio client base with services to meet repeat business requirements
-Change and project management
-Build client credibility and satisfaction with project delivery including strategic, financial, organizational
-Assure service quality, impact sustainment and sufficient relationships to maximize NIST survey results
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred
•Manufacturing preferred
**Senior Consulting Experience – Minimum of 10 years experience in General Business; experience in new sales in consulting services
**Minimum of 10 years experience in selling professional services with proven track record of achieving
•Experience in consultative selling approach and developing relationships at the “C” level
•Experience in directly managing client relationships using strategic account management principles
•Must have strong experience in strategic planning, organizational change and project management
•Strong facilitation, coaching and communication skills
•Experience with CRM, Power Point, Excel, and Word software
