We are seeking an entrepreneurial Senior Account Manager to join our rapidly growing Campaign Management team.
This multi-faceted position requires a progressive, on-the-spot, critical thinker. From campaign execution to optimization, a Senior Account Manager needs to understand client needs from top-level strategy to gritty details.
Responsibilities:
* Working with his/her assigned Account Supervisor to define client and advertising campaign strategies * Conferring with creative and media teams to develop the campaign strategy, select applicable media, determine the timing and placement of ads, and estimate all campaign costs * Submitting advertising/marketing campaign proposals, suggested concepts, and estimated budgets to client for approval * Conferring with client, utilizing product knowledge and research, to determine advertising goals and budget limitations * Providing clear and timely direction to all other agency departments regarding the campaign via team meetings, work orders, work order revisions, creative/media briefs, task/status reports or similar communication vehicles * Coordinating client/brand team meetings, including project kick-off meetings, weekly update meetings and periodic update meetings with the client * Using market research to evaluate, adjust, and redirect campaign as necessary and/or appropriate * Managing all day-to-day client account activities * Maintains a focus on the short-term campaign deliverables, concurrent with a firm understanding of client’s long-term goals * Maintains confidentiality while working closely with client regarding all aspects of campaign
Qualifications:
* This position requires a BA/BS and a minimum of four (4) years of prior experience within an ad agency or similar industry and three (3) years of experience as an Account Manager * A strong customer service orientation and the ability to form long-term customer relationships * Must possess strong verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a collaborative agency environment * The ability to successfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment * Effective problem-solving skills, specifically the ability to assess situations, evaluate options and make decisions/draw conclusions * Able to motivate and lead others in the development, direction and execution of advertising projects/campaigns * A strong track record of expanding business with existing customers (upselling) At Razorfish, the Internet is not a hobby.
