The Senior Information Security Analyst will be responsible for the implementation of Wireless Generation’s policies for secure software development and deployment. Reporting to the CISO, the Senior Information Security Analyst will work closely with product development and operations teams to ensure the company maintains the appropriate levels of security.
The ideal candidate is innovative, resourceful, and self-directed, and enjoys working in a rapidly changing technical environment.
Responsibilities of Senior Information Security Analyst :
Lead security and risk assessment activities across multiple Agile development teams.
Provide direction on the continued development and maintenance of Wireless Generation’s application security policies, standards and procedures.
Provide expert technical direction on application architecture, particularly in areas related to identity management.
Work closely with Agile product development teams in integrating security into the product development cycle.
Work with development teams and IT Operations to develop secure configuration and coding standards for new environments and technologies.
Assist in security due diligence and analysis of third party tools, vendors and systems.
Oversee internal/external vulnerability scans, code reviews, and coordinate related remediation activities.
Oversee secure development activities with third-party outsourced development teams.
Requirements of Senior Information Security Analyst:
5+ year’s experience in an information security/identity architecture role.
5 years of technical security experience in application security, identity management, API security, security architecture.
Knowledge of enterprise systems architecture, including Single Sign On technologies such as SAML, Kerberos, etc and web services.
Experience with security within a Java environment and implementing enterprise authentication architectures.
Experience with Agile development is a plus.
Experience maintaining and developing documentation on information security policies and procedures
Ability to evaluate technical specifications and identify, document, and explain security vulnerabilities, threats, and risks.
Security certifications such as CISSP or SANS GIAC a plus
Ability to work effectively as a member of multiple teams.
Self-motivated and highly organized.
Ability to handle simultaneous projects, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact well with different levels within the organization.
Ability to work well in a collaborative, team oriented environment.
