Senior Designer- Men's Knits & Sweaters
-Research and create new approaches and methods to the technique of knitting. -Interpret the seasonal mood and concept working with the Ready to Wear Designers. -Conduct yarn research. Work with the yarn mills and agents to gain technical information and prices as well as to develop new types of yarn. -Present yarn research to licensee, approve submits, lab dips and graph intarsia interpretations. -Apply technical instructions or graph, making lay outs or patterns for the designs. -Assist with prototype fittings in conjunction with the licensee. Correct technical details and stitches for samples. -Follow up on a regular basis with the licensee.
