We are working with a top client who is a large multi-billion dollar publicly traded company headquartered on the north side of Indianapolis. Our client is adding a Senior Financial Accounting Analyst to their team. The position reports directly to the Manager, Financial Reporting & Analysis and works closely with all members of the accounting department. Position has exposure to the Corporate Controller. This is a challenging and exciting role with a large company that is continuing to grow significantly and is extremely profitable. The company is very stable and there is opportunity for advancement and growth for strong performers.
This is a unique role as it allows the employee the opportunity to work in several areas with a variety of responsibilities in general accounting, financial reporting and budgeting.
Main responsibilities:
-Involvement with compilation and preparation of financial statements
-Involvement with compilation and tracking of consolidated budget
-Participation in regulatory reporting and regulatory audit
-Serve as one point of contact for external auditors in providing supporting documentation and answering questions
-Preparation of internal financial reports for review by senior leadership
Qualifications:
-Bachelors Degree Accounting/Finance
-CPA highly preferred but not required
-At least 3-5 years experience in accounting with either mix of public/corporate or progression in corporate accounting
-Strong Excel skills
-Ability to balance multiple tasks
-Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
-Strong attention to detail
