Senior Instock Manager, Sports (Sports Management/Operations)Our Sports & Outdoor team is looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical Senior Manager, Instock Management (planning). This position is responsible for managing the instock (planning) team and leading inventory management strategies to maximize customer experience, sales, margin and turns, as well as end-to-end business ownership of all supply chain processes from manufacturer to consumer. Strong understanding of data and demonstrated success in driving processes are required. The successful candidate must possess the ability to operate from a company-wide perspective and encourage cross-functional and cross-business project development.
Areas of responsibility include:
VENDOR MANAGEMENT:
Work with existing vendor base to ensure a reliable and operationally effective flow of goods to our fulfillment centers Define process improvements and work with vendors to increase EDI utilization, improve returns processes, and reduce order defects Manage order placement and order tracking to optimize on-time shipping, fill rate, and lead time, particularly focusing on meeting/exceeding customer expectations
INVENTORY & SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT:
Manage & develop inventory forecasts and open-to-buy budgets Manage inventory health by ensuring efficient inventory flows (including the forecasting, purchasing, and return of new and catalog products). Involves determining and executing exit strategies for unproductive inventory, and analyzing inventory position. Work on key system inputs to achieve highly automated replenishment (forecasting, VLT's, buying policies) Partner with buyers in driving sales and profitability growth for Sports & Outdoor category/ies
PROJECT MANAGEMENT:
Work with various internal teams to help drive tools and process improvements that affect purchasing and vendor management workflows Troubleshoot and drive resolution for systemic issues that reduce the accuracy of system generated forecasts Work with buyers, instock managers (planning), and assistant buyers to plan product transitions and reduce errors in forecasting Work with supply chain to optimize space utilization Work with cross functional IT teams to further automate key processes Passionately advocate for the customer and category within our Own & drive the technical roadmap for instock management metrics

Bachelor's degree 7+ years of relevant experience in inventory planning, operations/supply chain management, and/or finance Experience directly managing people and their performance Proficient in Excel Experience leading cross-functional projects
