The Columbia Group (TCG), a technical services support company which has a successful 30+ year history of providing the United States Military with acquisition, logistics management, engineering, design, fabrication, test and evaluation, information technology and financial management support services, is seeking a Sr. Logistics Analysts III.
The Sr. Logistics Analyst will provide senior level leadership in addressing customer needs with regard to acquisition logistics support for ongoing NavSea programs. The analyst will provide business, acquisition / logistics and infrastructure feasibility assessments as requested. Performs technical studies and analysis on complex systems to investigate logistics concepts, techniques and applications that will advance current capabilities and contribute to the development of effective logistics operations. Will act as a lead and mentor to junior logistics analysts.
Required Education Skills and Experience:
Bachelor, masters, or specialized degree and 10+ years of acquisition / logistics experience or Specialized training & 15+ years of military logistics/supply or Equivalent logistics/supply/academic experience in lieu of formal education.
An active security clearance is required.
Experience and expertise in one or several of the following areas is highly desired:
• Material Management and Life Cycle Management experience • Supply Chain Management experience • Property accountability IAW DOD regulations • Understanding of the DOD acquisitions process
Life cycle Logistics Defense Acquisition Workforce Impact (DAWIA) level II or III required.
Preferred Education Skills and Experience:
Experience leading a team of analyst Experience as a trainer or training junior analysts in acquisitions/logistics roles
