This ideal candidate will play a key role in the supply consulting team. . The primarily role is focused on supply chain solutions related to Logistics Network Optimization (LNO), and Simulations (SIM), . Support cross-functional consulting services, such as Material Handling Equipment design (MHE), Supply Chain Execution Softwares (SCES) and LEAN services. . Develop several supply chain models simultaneously that holistically cover total landed cost, inventory analysis, DC capacity, freight costs from several transportation modes. . Analyze large dataset and develop insightful analysis to form effective solutions with on-budget, on-time and on-point mindsets. . Develop professional deliverables that maintain TranSystems high quality standard . Consistently continue to learn and deploy new technologies to improve quality of works to help clients and other internal resources. . Communicate clearly to clients throughout all phases of the project such as data collection, baseline validation, scenario formulation, optimization results, final presentation . Support internal function to develop insightful KPIs/reports to improve the supply chain consulting team. . To play an expanding role by coaching others in LNO activities within 6-12 months after joining.
Job Requirement: . BS or MS preferred in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or other related field. . A minimum of 4 years of Supply Chain/Logistics, Engineering, Business Analysis/Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience required. . Knowledge of Supply Chain systems, network modeling, simulation, ERP, WMS, mapping software and routing software required, such as IBM LogicNet Plus, i2 supply chain strategies, SAILS, and/or any other clients' preferred selection . Strong analytical and problem solving skills to solve complex problems, generate ideas, and develop creative solutions. . Must be proficient in MS Excel/MS Access - working with formulas, large data tables, pivot tables, charts, queries, custom functions, data management and analysis. . Experience with statistical and/or data-mining tools (Minitab, SAS, COGNOS, Tableau, etc.) . Solid communication skills to collaborate and leverage effective alliances within and across departments (Operations, Finance, Sales and Distribution, etc.) . Knowledge of project management methodologies, concepts, processes, and documentation. Ability to manage, plan, organize and work through multiple assignments within effective timeline
