Job Description:
The Opportunity:Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks a professional, innovative and detailed individual for our Senior Maintenance Electrician. If you are looking for an opportunity to work for a world class company with growth opportunities, then this position is for you!

* Perform skilled installation, repair, and preventative maintenance on facility electrical and control systems, generators, UPS, fire, HVAC, mechanical, and structural
* building systems to ensure safe and efficient operations
* Plan, design, and complete minor remodeling and equipment installation projects.
* Prepare and review specifications and technical data in support of new construction
* Inspect completed work for compliance with plans, specifications, and codes
* Regularly work with outside contractors
* Train and lead co-workers on equipment operation and processes
* Promote continuous improvement of workplace safety, environmental practices, area processes, and waste reduction opportunities
* Perform other duties as assigned
* Model SEL ValuesQualifications:
* Possess and maintain a current Journeyman (01) Electrical License
* Minimum of 4 years experience in commercial facility operations and maintenance
* High School diploma or GED
* Ability to read, understand, follow, and strictly enforce safety procedures
* Ability to effectively communicate with executive management
* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
* Ability to work various shifts, hours and days depending on workload
* Current driver's license and unblemished driving record for past three years
* Background check results satisfactory to SEL
* Negative drug test resultsPreferred Qualifications:
* Current Washington Master Electrician License
