Senior Manager/Director - Search Marketing Job code: 2383 Job Category: Computers, Software City: Sunnyvale Job Description: Senior Manager/Director - Search Marketing We are seeking an enthusiastic, energetic, highly quantitative professional to lead our Internet marketing efforts. These efforts include directing the team responsible for managing our keyword portfolios and paid search processes, working closely with engineering to develop processes and tools for scalable management of keywords and content for campaigns on all major advertising networks. The position will be responsible for managing the financial performance for all of our search marketing efforts. This person must be comfortable working in a high energy start up environment and be passionate about learning e-commerce and search segments of the Internet industry. This position has a competitive salary and also includes pre-IPO stock options and healthcare benefits. This position reports to the VP of Comparison Shopping. Responsibilities - Take responsibility for key paid search business performance metrics; cost per click, revenue per visitor, overall revenue, and conversion rates. - Lead the ongoing development & optimization of our keyword portfolio. - Develop, lead, and implement the core S.E.M. growth strategy for our company. - Optimize the performance of our keyword portfolio through testing new and creative landing pages. - Maintain key goals of maximizing revenue while maintaining required R.O.I. - Manage & develop a team of S.E.M. portfolio managers. - Direct engineering efforts to expand & optimize large scale automated keyword management [25MM+ keywords]. - Effective interaction with a wide variety of individuals throughout the organization including the Business team, Product team, Engineering team and Executive Management. Qualifications & Experience: - BA/BS in Engineering in Computer Science or comparable Analytical and Quantitative Major - MBA preferred - 7+ years work experience - 2+ years experience in managing large scale keyword campaigns for Google AdWords, Yahoo Search Marketing (Panama), and/or Microsoft AdCenter - High level of comfort with data-oriented, quantitative decision making - Exceptional quantitative analysis skills - Excellent communication skills - Ability to manage goals effectively in a highly matrixed environment - Positive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering results If interested, please send your Resume as a Word Attachment to:Randy@
