Aerotek has an immediate opening for a Senior Market Research Analyst at the corporate office in Hanover, MD.

The Senior Market Research Analyst will manage and execute market research efforts for Aerotek's divisional operations. The Market Research Analyst develops market research strategies and programs to support strategic decision making, improve internal/external awareness and understanding of market trends, and reinforce company's brand positioning. Provides market research leadership, coordination and integration to assist in strategic business planning. Gathers, analyzes, and disseminates primary and secondary market, industry and competitive research.

The individual will work within a Market Research team and in conjunction with various company groups such as divisional operations, marketing and professional development. This individual serves as a key information resource for business planning processes. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Job Responsibilities
- Performs research and analysis of relevant industries/markets that Aerotek serves
- Coordinates major research programs and projects in support of key divisional initiatives and programs. May include, but not limited to, survey design and implementation, focus groups and competitor/market intelligence
- Regularly conducts in-depth analyses and prepares reports with actionable recommendations.
- Compiles and analyzes information on key strategic areas such as: industry trends, emerging skills, hot skills, competitive intelligence and market saturation
- Guides and supports Aerotek's thought leadership positioning through market research agenda and strategy initiatives
- Create quantitative reports on human capital management and labor market trends using internal and external data; provide associated qualitative analysis to enable enterprise-wide consumption of data to drive strategic decisions
- Maximizes impact and value of market research by planning and recommending appropriate information cascades throughout the organization
- Partner with Divisional Operations/Marketing peers to create insightful and value-added research tools and resources
- Identify and guide improvements to market research tools and processes
- Manage vendor relationships with research firms on an as needed basis
- Other market research responsibilities may be assigned as needed in support of other programs

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and marketing/business degree or experience is required. Masters degree preferred.
- At least 2-4 years experience performing market research
- Industry knowledge of human capital solutions/staffing preferred
- Strong project management skills; deadline driven
- Attention to detail
- Ability to solve problems and present conceptual information to all levels
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Confident written / verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently, multi-task and learn on the fly with minimal supervision
- Service oriented: Commitment to providing high-quality service in a fast-paced business environment
- Strong quantitative skills in building and running reports from multiple systems; must be an expert in MS Office programs
