Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is a marketing executive position. The individual will focus on strategic business development that builds new/expanded business opportunities in the market sectors defined for the respective Business Group, and will have oversight of the marketing, capture, proposal and sourcing assets being used to find, analyze, develop and capture opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Leads Corporate Business Development activities in support of the assigned Business Group, to include the market analysis, strategic planning, account management, pipeline management, opportunity capture and BD resource management.

2. Collaborates with the Business Group leadership in developing their business plans, and supports the plan's execution by managing market development strategies, ensuring a pipeline of sufficient size and scope, and aligning effective BD resources.

3. Coordinates and collaborates with other market sector BD executives on opportunity identification and capture activities of mutual interest that leverage corporate functional competencies and enhance account development/growth interests.

4. Ensures compliance with corporate objectives, policies and procedures, most specifically as they pertain to account management and business development, which includes the planning, prioritization and allocation of B&P expenditures.

5. Prepares reviews, reports and assessments on a periodic basis that address the overall adequacy and effectiveness of BD resources in meeting relevant business group plans, and then initiates adjustments and alignments as required.

6. Facilitates communication, collaboration and relationship building with all market sector client levels and the corporation as necessitated to execute the business development activities supporting the business group plans.

7. Adheres to the BD Executive responsibility, authority, accountability and performance metrics as defined in the CACI Defined Process for Account Management.

This is an incentive-based position. The terms are agreed upon at the time of employment. This position is accountable for developing and winning business that enables business group growth. Performance will be measured on a quarterly basis and that performance will directly effect the overall compensation of the individual.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or one of the Sciences, or equivalent, and 10 or more years of Federal Sales experience is preferred. Must have experience in preparing reports and conducting both internal and customer briefings.
