Service Center Supervisor- Fairbanks, AK

  • Coordinates the internal daily operations of the location by monitoring and evaluating the efficiency of distribution, warehouse and customer service personnel.
  • May coordinate the daily operations of sales and clinical staff.
  • Ensures operational efficiency is optimized by conducting audits to identify deficiencies.
  • Assists in developing procedures to correct deficiencies.
  • Ensures operational procedures comply with federal, state, local and JCAHO regulations.
  • Troubleshoots problems regarding operational procedures.
  • Responds to customer inquiries and resolves patient complaints.
  • May assist in implementing new policies and programs.
  • Ensures proper acquisition business integration.
  • Responsible for hiring, coaching, performance appraisal and disciplining of subordinate staff.
  • Supervises the activities of subordinate staff. Provides direction and guidance in work assignments. Ensures timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Typically supervises 4 - 8 primarily nonexempt employees.
  • Monitors staffing levels, expenditures, asset equipment utilization and inventory levels to ensure maximum profit margins.
  • Monitors branch operating expenses and revenues in order to meet established budgeted goals and projected growth revenues.
  • May assist in the development and preparation of the service center's annual budget.
  • May assist in coordinating the local sales function.
  • May assist in developing budgeted sales goals and ensuring sales goals are attained.
  • May assist sales when necessary to maintain contact with major accounts within area.
  • Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • Education or experience equivalent to a four year college degree is required.
  • At least six years related experience is required.
