SharpShooter Imaging Company is a rapidly growing, privately held Photography Company with established souvenir photo contracts at over 100 different types of tourist attractions from the East Coast to the West Coast, including Hawaii. SharpShooter Imaging and FanFoto combined are one of the largest souvenir photo providers in the country with upwards of 800 employees.
SharpShooter Imaging Assistant Managers are responsible for all operational aspects of running a high-volume souvenir photography retail operation in the absence of the Location Manager. The Assistant Manager position is heavily focused on sales management of a team of sales photographers operating in alignment with the host client standards and the standards set by the corporation. Responsibilities:
Experience in Souvenir Photography in a retail, guest-oriented setting is highly desirable, including sales experience with Digital Photography processing and sales in a POS environment.
Guest relations with a focus on listening to, understanding and anticipating customer needs. Takes proactive steps to follow up on requests and ensure customer satisfaction.
Fundamental written and verbal communication skills with customers, management and cross-functional team members apable of, and willing to learn how to maintain strong relations with operating peers and staff Exposure to and monitoring the financial performance of the location in the absence of the Location Manager. Assists the Location Manager in control labor costs through following guideline of proper planning and sound decision making.
Follow Location Manager guidelines in developing, training and motivating staff to achieve desired guest service and financial results. Previous exposure to, or willingness to learn about the employment life cycle including recruitment, hiring, monitoring and performance evaluation of all venue location personnel.
Our sites will be open 7 days a week. Candidates for this position must have open availability.
Monitor appropriate staff schedules including vacation and time off requests in the absence of the Location Manager.
Work with Location Manager to learn about accurately forecasting material, product and cost of goods consumption.
In conjunction with Location Manager and Regional Management, work with Corporate HR and Recruiting to maintain personnel management standards and appropriate staffing levels. Qualifications:
Some experience and willingness to learn under the guidance of the Management Team a variety of management responsibilities.
2 years previous experience in a professional position showing the ability to produce sales, build a relationship of trust, credibility and mutual respect with guests and/or partners and internal team members.
