Description ? Coordinate with the Chief Operating Officer the requirements and actions necessary to ensure the quality of courseware developed.
? Coordinate with the Chief Operating Officer actions and processes necessary for effective and timely courseware delivery to customers.
? Coordinate with the Executive Vice President of Business Development and the Chief Operating Officer in the preparation and construction of customer bid proposals and offers within the contracting process.
? Provide supervision to employees to ensure compliance with the government contract, company policy and the collective bargaining agreement.
? Serve as the U-2 airframe system quality assurance monitor which requires a review for accuracy and completeness all courseware products from rough draft to acceptance prior to the contract delivery date. Each courseware unit receives either a revision or review not more than every two years.
? Monitor employee work ethics, work schedules, employee daily time entries and validate time submissions at the end of each pay period.
? Interview applicants for position vacancies and make applicant recommendations to the Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
? Ensure adequate training is provided for new employees.
? Maintain a general knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
? Financially responsible for maintenance of office supplies and equipment replacement through the company?s purchase order system.
? Manage the site?s petty cash fund.
? Manage and coordinate the Instructor Certification and Qualification Board process.
? Assign projects and tasks to appropriate team or project leads.
? Construct Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) for projects.
? Certified to teach as outlined in the CTI Training and Certification Plan.
? Monitor the progress of courseware development from initial contact with customer through review and approval of courses.
? Assist customers, when necessary, in the resolution of any issues or problems.
? In the absence of the President, act as his representative in such matters he deems appropriate.
? Perform other incidental and related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements Education: Master?s degree in education, aerospace science, or business administration.
Training and Experience: Previous experience as an Instructor Pilot (IP, Air Force Specialty Code ?K? prefix) in the U-2S/T-38, or comparable aircraft (T-38 experience desirable for U-2 academic instructors). Minimum 500 flying hours in the U-2S or comparable aircraft (T-38 experience for T-38 academics).
Minimum five (5) years experience in project management and five (5) years experience in senior executive level management position.
Working knowledge in instructional systems design or attended the Air Force ISD School.
General Skills: Must possess highly developed organizational, planning and management writing skills, oral communication skills, project management skills, ability to schedule work flow, prioritize, delegate, meet deadlines, and be multi task oriented.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Security Clearance: Must maintain a ?Secret? level security clearance.
