Overview: The Social Media Relations Specialist is responsible for developing, managing, and executing comprehensive social media relations efforts that successfully utilize all social communications channels to enhance the exposure, reputation, and community relations of clients of the agency.
Your constant sense of urgency helps you to deliver work at speeds that exceed your clients' expectations and your flair for presentation enable you to convey your ideas, strategies, and plans in a clear and simple way while remaining calm under deadlines.
Key Responsibilities: * Participate in daily social newsroom calls * Manage and update editorial calendar in conjunction with content editor * Write and present Facebook posts and tweets in conjunction with content editor * Monitor page throughout the day to find opportunities for us to engage with users * Write/review responses to comments and user posts on the page * Help client manage relationship with moderation vendor * Generate moderation reports, tracking content performance and reporting out trends * Work with analytics team (both internal and agency partners) to develop regular reports, both by platform and cross-channel * Track content performance and report out trends * Work with client account managers and social media strategists * Keep up to date with competitor Facebook pages and research reports around best practices for wall posts * Work with the account team to keep moderation guidelines and house rules up to date
Qualifications: * 3-5 years prior work experience within an ad agency, PR firm, journalism or publishing house, social media agency, or production environment. * Deep working knowledge of social media platforms * Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills; ability to prioritize daily activities and multi-task * Thrives in a dynamic environment * Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, or Journalism
