Responsibilities :
The selected candidate will help design and develop cutting-edge real-time 3D graphics software and systems involving geospatial, volumetric, and geometric datasets fused with real-time video and meta-data. Additional tasks include user interface development and implementation of inter-process communication. Applications of the software include command and control, security and surveillance, Warfighter training, 3D modeling, medical visualization, and other related fields.
The candidate must possess excellent communication (verbal, written and listening) and organizational skills.
Qualifications :
*
Position requires at minimum a Bachelors in CS, EE or a related discipline, Masters preferred.
*
3 to 7 years experience required.
*
Required Technical Skills:
*
C/C++, C#/.NET, OpenGL, and multi-threaded programming experience in MS Windows (Win32) environment.
*
Strong mathematics and linear algebra skills.
*
GUI programming experience with at least one of WPF, Windows Forms, MFC or wxWidgets.
*
Inter-process communication programming experience with at least one of WCF, SOAP, CORBA, sockets.
*
Desirable Technical Skills:
*
Experience with the Python programming language.
*
Familiarity with 2D imagery and 3D model file formats and compression techniques.
*
Experience with digital video, image processing/computer vision, and VR technologies.
Due to requirements for US Government contractors, this position requires US citizenship. Projects may require US Government Security Clearance; therefore a current Security Clearance or the availability to obtain Security Clearance is desirable.
