Solution Architect – Aerospace (101605)

Summary:
The Solution Architect defines and proposes an integrated Global Solution enabling the customer to fulfill his strategy while covering his whole business processes. He guarantees the final workability and relevancy of the Solution and acts as a key customer partner during the entire project Lifecycle.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Understand and formalize customer business issues/drivers and requirements;
• Build or Contribute to the definition of the statement of work (SOW) with the sales team;
• Write the 1st level of functional specifications for the customer and Industry Services technical Teams, in line with Industry Referential;
• Obtain the approval of the functional specifications from the customer;
• Validate the customer’s solution requirements with the software/deployment/knowledge architects, as applicable;
• Capitalize on project deliverables to ensure reusability;
• Plan resource needs with Resource Management team;
• Manage project demand and delivery;
• Analyze and evaluate technical solutions to customer business problems before they arise;
• Ensure customer satisfaction based on meeting the functional specifications;
• Identify and develop additional software and services revenues opportunities, if applicable.
• Be responsible for a business development quota within the Aerospace Industry
• Be able to maintain Customer relationships, lead project review/status/governance meetings with Customer director and C-Level management
• Be able to collaborate with Dassault Systemes BT Sales Reps


Requirements:

Education: Bachelor degree – Engineering or equivalent

Experience:
3-5 years of experience working in a similar role and /or as a Solution Architect
Proven experience working within a product delivery lifecycle (requirements analysis through design, implementation, testing, and cut-over through support).
Proven experience with customer relations, customer team oversight, and customer team management.
Business process definition and reengineering experience.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of management process
Particular Aptitudes:
Strong communication skills to effectively communicate features and functionality of Dassault Systemes’ software solutions.
Strong collaborative negotiating skills, demonstrating a keen sense of business acumen.
Understanding the link between business needs and application technology.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-driven environment.

Language(s) : English, French (an asset)

Travel: 50-75%
