Job Summary:
GLOBALFOUNDRIES Fab 8 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Procurement professional to become part of our state of the art 300mm factory in Malta, New York. This position will
-Report to Disposition / Inventory & Planning Manager -Establish inventory management strategy -Manage supply & delivery issues and ensure continuous material / parts supply to support local site fabs -Execute material / parts forecast process -Act as the liaison with the supplier on forecast requirement and monitor incoming shipment, inventory status and actual consumption -Conduct monthly inventory meetings with key suppliers -Generate MRP and inventory reports -Act as the liaison with Finance on SNDN issues and PO issues -Support CoE in PR, PO, BPA & Order execution -Conduct Supplier Inventory Audit -Optimize supply chain and logistics -Work closely with sourcing team on new material / parts interfacing & material / parts issues -Create part numbers for new material / parts and interface with supplier on delivery -Support supply chain related programs -Act as the liaison with Fab, SQE & Facilities on operational & quality issues -Negotiate compensation packages in case of supply chain issues in collaboration with the sourcing team -Support D & D (Business processes & Systems)
Required Qualifications:
-Bachelor/Master degree in Engineering or Business. -Exceptional interpersonal and team skills with excellent communication skills/written and verbal. -In depth knowledge of ERP and other planning software -Minimum of 5 years Supply Chain and Planning experiences in an high volume manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications:
-Experience in semiconductor industry and Fab Startups -In depth knowledge of SAP and ORACLE ERP systems -Familiarity with Lean processes & activities and Kaizen teams
