Position Description
As a member of the US team, reporting to the VP Sales, the Senior Account Manager is responsible for selling our market leading IT Management solution to enterprise-level customers in a direct go-to-market approach.
The account assignments are geographically territory based. Key accountabilities are to achieve revenue goals each quarter, grow the number of new accounts, and work on building larger deals to increase territory deal size over time.
Requirements:
Position Requirements
· 5-7 years of successful IT Management sales experience (ITSM, ITAM) with a major B2B software publisher (BMC, HP, CA, Service-now.com, Numara, FrontRange, or others).
· Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
· Familiarity with SaaS and market disruptive technologies.
· Experience in both direct and indirect solution sales.
· Able to consistently qualify, generate, and execute on opportunities that provide profitable revenue.
· Consistently builds an effective pipeline and executes on each phase of the sales process.
· Articulates a vision that resonates and demonstrates value to the customer.
· Applies a thorough understanding of business practice, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to carry out a repeatable sales process.
· Incorporates knowledge of our products and services, the customer, and key competitors into the sales process and uses that knowledge to uncover customer needs and create value based solutions.
· Builds trust with others by acting authentically and with integrity.
· Works effectively as an individual while also facilitating the sales opportunity by providing team-on-team leadership and orchestrating the internal and external resources needed to effectively manage the sales process.
· Establishes strong customer relationships that develop into a trusted advisor role.
