Sr. Credit Risk Analyst - Basel II Modeling
Our client's risk function manages and analyzes the exposure to internal and external risk factors. The function strives to achieve an appropriate balance between risk and return, to limit unnecessary risk, and to protect the company's financial returns.
The Senior Risk Analyst will lead the credit risk analytical work related to Basel II credit risk quantification.
Principal Accountabilities: * Lead Basel II analytics projects for automotive group * Manage multiple project priorities and communication * Analyze internal and external data for portfolio segmentation and validation * Scorecard development and validation for modeling probability of default (PD), loss given default (LGD) and exposure at default (EAD) under the framework of Basel II U.S. Final Rule * Determine, develop and document data requirements, modeling assumptions and model results for best practice methodologies deployed and alternatives approaches considered * Work with lines of business to ensure models are business-driven and empirically derived * Respond to auditor and regulatory reviewers for analytical inquiries and defend analytical process and formulation of model results * Work with IT group to ensure that scorecard programs are accurately implemented * Manage Basel II on-going monitoring and model development
