Sr. Designer, Women's
Helps manage the creation and execution of original concepts for multiple categories within the Division. Required to train and develop staff in an environment that promotes creativity while maintaining accountability for meeting company deadlines and objectives. Works very closely with Design Director to help coordinate and create color palettes; determine seasonal concepts, establish print, pattern, fabric, and trim direction. Assists management in directing team members to develop products that maintain a unified point of view. Design and help others design products from concept through completion with a focus on function, quality and creativity. Develop and direct product standards and strive for design innovation. Work closely with merchandising and product development counterparts to insure company objectives are met with regard to product timing and integrity. Continually assess the competition to identify opportunities for new businesses in underserved markets. Uphold the highest standards of excellence in communication to establish and maintain strong relationships with both team members and all Company business partners. Position reports to Design Director.
