Job Description
•Coordinate financial reporting, forecasting and planning processes for the Medical Products Fluid Systems franchise.
•Support other functions including marketing, sales, or operations with forecasts, budgets and analysis of monthly results.
•Heavy involvement in the financial analyses and preparation of materials and presentations for senior management of the Fluid Systems franchise.
•Considerable interface with regional financial contacts, corporate consolidations and operational business partners of the franchise.
•Involvement in working with our business relationship with Sigma and the various aspects of reporting for our joint venture relationship on an on-going basis.
•Complete a variety of special projects, as they arise including modeling for business development opportunities, challenging assumptions and making recommendations.
•Creating process improvements and documenting internal controls. *Location of role will be changing to the Deerfield, IL location in April 2012.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
•Strong analytical skills with familiarity in accounting, financial analysis and reporting.
•Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills.
•Demonstration of leadership skills and the ability to effectively and professionally work with all levels of the organization.
•Strong technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment.
•Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, often cross-functionally.
•Possess a strong knowledge of PC applications (ie. Excel/Access).
•Detail oriented.
•Success will be dependent upon the individuals ability to manage multiple priorities. Key Finance Competencies:
•Financial Analysis and Decision Support
•Business Performance Management
•Accounting and Reporting Integrity Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance (or country equivalent). Demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 4 + years of relevant experience with financial planning and reporting.
