Overview of Job Function:

The Senior Tax Manager will be responsible for directing and overseeing the organization’s tax policies and objectives. Works to minimize tax obligations and ensure global compliance. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Manages the preparation of global quarterly and annual tax provisions, provides accounting analysis and compliance as is pertains to FAS 109 and FIN 48 and all income tax accounting, and ensures all US tax filings are accurate and timely, including quarterly tax payments. Coordinate needed information between accounting, business finance, consolidation and reporting group, and other areas of the Company on a worldwide basis to meet tax deadlines and requirements.


Principal Duties and Essential Responsibilities:
* Provide technical tax expertise with respect to consolidated financial statements (international & domestic subsidiaries).
* Minimize global tax expense maintaining sensitivity to any cash repatriation issues.
* Drive efficiencies in and improvements to US GAAP Tax processes.
* Assist in managing US GAAP tax audit and various jurisdictional tax office audits.
* Ensure global tax compliance and accurate tax filings.
* Review tax estimates and projections and corporate estimated payments.
* Coordinate timely Tax participation in Finance forecasting cycles.

Direct management of two Tax Managers responsible for FIN 48, US Tax Provision and US tax compliance.

Successful completion of a background screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, OFAC, and SS verification.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; Masters in Taxation or CPA.
* Minimum 10 years experience with corporate tax compliance and tax aspects of US GAAP and related processes.
* Strong proficiency in FAS 109 and FIN 48 tax accounting principles applied on global basis.
* Sound knowledge of technical aspects of federal corporate income taxation as well as state and local tax.
* Experience with corporate M&A tax requirements, post-transactional integration from the tax perspective, cross-border US tax concepts (transfer pricing, subpart-F, deemed dividends, foreign tax credits & foreign currency).
Preferred Requirements:
* 4+ years experience in Big 4 Public accounting firm.
