This experienced & successful Marketing/Sales professional will develop new business and book orders. Additionally, will develop and expand product and customer opportunities, formulate and implement competitive strategies and customers’ marketing plans and coordinate with field support to develop the market and promote sales of products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze market trends, potential and customer needs in developing opportunities. Monitor market data to determine strengths and weaknesses of our product/company and develop plans to improve our competitive position.
Coordinate efforts of field support in product sales and development of business.
Develop product application requirements and coordinate manufacturing efforts in pre-production design and prototype development. Provide management with details and recommendations of product development costs or strategic investments.
Closely interface with the field sales organization in promotion and sales of products. Determine customer needs and lead efforts to meet those needs.
On bid and proposal items, establish key proposal strategy issues to be addressed, proposal budget and schedule, and provide the proposal team and external organizations with proposal direction based upon marketing strategy, division objectives and customer requirements.
Coordinate between customers and internal departments, participate in contract negotiations, establish product pricing and profitability goals, and participate in technical requirements negotiations.
REQUIREMENTS
Undergraduate degree preferred. B.S. in a technical field is beneficial but an appropriate level of work experience is also suitable. Person should have a good business sense to understand financial impact of actions/decisions and have an understanding of the commercial aircraft industry and its customers.
Minimum five (5) years industry experience
Good written and oral English communication skills
Communication skills - very important, both orally and written. Continuous written correspondence with customers is required
Presentations will be given both internally and externally using various media
Development of promotional, advertising and sales material to support the marketing effort
Seven to ten years experience in all or some of the following areas: marketing, product design, manufacturing engineering and program management
Experience in outside selling is also beneficial in understanding and identifying customer requirements requires development of customer strategic marketing plans to capture new business opportunities. Implementation of these plans requires organizing a coordinated effort among internal departments of engineering, manufacturing and administration, and externally with the field marketing organization
