Sr. Product Cost Analyst
-Support Global Marketing, Regional Marketing and Supply Chain teams as part of the New Product Development (NPD) process within assigned category -Work with Global Marketing and New Product Engineering and Development (NPE&D) manager/engineer to identify product/component benchmarks. Pull NA costing information quickly and efficiently at global direction. -Analyze cost variations throughout the process across regions. Identify significant variance and review with Global Sourcing opportunities to reduce cost. - Access regional cost database that allows the costing process to be streamlined and produce early costs (cost objective, cost viability) based on internal benchmarks vs. supplier costs (Cost database is from Sourcing matrix or NA annually updated cost book) -Support Global Costing Manager on ad hoc duties as needed - Work with other regions on enhancements of costing within the new NPD process
