" Bachelors Degree in electrical Engineering. Masters in engineering a plus. " Good communications & presentation skill, selling technical solutions in the satellite industry. " StrongRadio Frequency (RF) knowledge. " Knowledge of VSAT network systems (Minimum of 5 years experience) " Hands on Experience with Antenna pointing and troubleshooting for 2 way satellite communications. " Proficiency in satellite communications and link budgets. " Computer Networking Skills: Routing, TCP/UDP, VLAN, VPN, MPLS etc... " Hands on experience with configuring routers and switches. " Network Architecture Design Experience. " Prior experience in working with US Federal Government/US Dept of Defense Military and Intelligence customers, desirable. " Basic High Level Programming (Shell Scripting, Perl) is desirable. " Existing security clearance or the ability and willingness to submit for aclearance.
POSITION SUMMARY: The successful candidate will have experience in satellite communications (prior military experience desirable) and strong RF knowledge. The job entails working closely with the Sales Team providing both Pre and Post Sales Support to Customers. The company is also a leading provider of COTM (communications on the move) and your experience in these areas should be highlighted.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: " Gather customer technical requirements. " Assist in making presentations for US Federal Government customers. " Gather customer technical requirements. " Provides the sales team with expert technical support in the pre-sales process and creates compelling technical solutions for customers. " Independently develop and run satellite link budgets for fixed and airborne solutions. " Translates and communicate complex technical design requirements and communicate to the sales team and prospective customers. " Evaluate, validate, creates diagrams, and present the designs of technical solutions to customers. " Takes the lead in technical qualification,Q/Awith prospects and customers. " Work with all levels of client organizations from Network Administrators to ClOs. " Provide ongoing post-sales technical support to customers requiring scalability and growth in their network and consulting on configurations when needed. " Ensure that technical information and products sold support customer requirements and lead to successfully installed products and services.
