This is an Urgent Need for a Senior Tax Accountant to work with the income tax compliance team. This is a terrific opportunity to gain hands on experience working in a dynamic compliance environment that encompasses filings related to over 50 foreign entities. The company files several consolidated federal tax returns and has extensive state tax filings in over 50 state and local jurisdictions.
RESPONSIBILITIES: * Preparation of Federal and state and local income and franchise tax returns * Preparation of Forms 5471 and 8858 * Preparation of responses to tax notices and IDRs * Coordinating needs of auditors from taxing authorities * Assistance in the company's quarterly and annual income tax accounting process * Assistance with research and special projects
